Job description

Remote | Salary + Commission | 40%+ Travel

Inspire Change. Drive Momentum. Build Trust.

Every day, you’ll help ambitious $10M–$250M companies unlock their next stage of growth through stronger leadership, healthier teams, and better execution.

At Petra Coach, we work alongside these leadership teams to help them build companies that perform without the owner at the center of everything, and to help leaders step into potential they haven’t fully tapped yet. The result is stronger leaders, more accountable teams, and businesses that create real, lasting economic impact.

As an Accountability Coach, you are the bridge between vision and execution. You work across a portfolio of diverse clients, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, construction, and beyond, building deep, long-term relationships with the leaders you serve. Over time, you become a trusted strategic partner.

A Career with Range, Depth, and Real Impact

You’ll carry a portfolio of 18-20 clients across industries, each with their own challenges, goals, and growth stories. The breadth of exposure is unlike almost any other role in business coaching or operations.

One day you’re on a Zoom call helping a manufacturing CEO navigate a leadership transition. The next you’re on a plane to lead an in-person planning session with a fast-growing healthcare company. Wednesday you’re facilitating leadership development content that shifts how an entire team thinks. Friday you’re syncing with your Lead Coach, refining roadmaps, and setting up the next quarter for success.

Every client is a new world. Every quarter is a new challenge. And every breakthrough you help create is something you can point to and say: I helped make that happen.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide the Process: Implement Strategic Roadmaps alongside Lead Coaches, ensuring annual and quarterly priorities get executed with excellence.
  • Own the Relationships: Become a trusted partner to the executives and teams you serve. Lead conversations, facilitate sessions, and build the kind of professional relationships that last years.
  • Drive Performance: Navigate complex conversations with leadership teams, build roadmaps, gather data, and make sure every priority stays on track.
  • Curate Remarkable Experiences: Every interaction, from the kickoff call to the quarterly recap, should be intentional, high-impact, and worth remembering.
  • Maintain Momentum: Own the details. Keep every project field updated, every follow-up closed, every task accounted for.
  • Build Long-Term Value: Help clients see Petra Coach as a strategic investment—and help them connect their daily execution to the bigger vision they’re building toward.

Who Thrives Here

You bring energy, curiosity, and real professional presence. You love variety—and you’re good at holding a lot at once without dropping anything. Specifically:

  • Experience: project management, account management, or operations (2+ years, ideally). You know how to run things.
  • Small Business DNA: You’ve worked in or alongside a small business (teams of 20-30) and understand the pace and ownership mindset.
  • Natural Project Manager: You see around the curves. You spot gaps in a plan before the client does.
  • Executive Presence: You sit at the table with company owners and earn trust quickly through competence and clear communication.
  • Curious and Proactive: You ask “why” constantly and aren’t afraid to ask the coaching question that shifts the entire conversation.
  • Flexible Leader: You move seamlessly between taking the lead and supporting the team—and you’re great at both.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with Zoom, HubSpot, Microsoft 365, and Dropbox. You learn tools fast.
  • Remote Pro + Ready Traveler: Professional home setup required. Located near a major airport—travel is a meaningful and exciting part of this role.
