CLOUD ENGINEER

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across production and staging environments.
  
• Support application deployment and release processes in cloud environments.
  
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable deployments.
  
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
  
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize cloud architecture.
  
• Implement security best practices across cloud environments.
  
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
  
• Manage cloud resources, cost optimization, and capacity planning.
  
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
  

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and distributed systems.
  
• Experience working in Agile and collaborative engineering environments.
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Good communication and documentation abilities.
  

Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services / Microsoft Azure / Google Cloud Platform
  
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent
  
• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (basic to intermediate)
  
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
  
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or similar
  
• Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent
  
• Networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancers)
  
• Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
