JUNIOR DESIGNER

The Junior Designer will support UX/UI design activities including wireframes, UI layouts, design updates, and visual asset creation. This role is ideal for early-career designers looking to build strong foundations in product design, user experience, and design systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
  
• Create wireframes, mockups, and basic prototypes under guidance.
  
• Support improvements to existing product designs.
  
• Work with senior designers to translate requirements into visuals.
  
• Maintain consistency in design assets and components.
  
• Participate in design reviews and feedback sessions.
  
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
  
• Learn and apply UX/UI best practices and design standards.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Design, Computer Science, HCI, or related field.
  
• 3-5 years of experience (internships, bootcamps, or personal projects included).
  
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
  
• Portfolio showcasing design work (school, personal, or freelance projects).
  
• Willingness to learn and take feedback.
  
• Strong attention to detail and creativity.
  
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  

Technical Skills

• Design Tools: Basic proficiency in Figma
  
• Wireframing & Prototyping (basic level)
  
• Understanding of UI principles (spacing, typography, color)
  
• Basic knowledge of user experience concepts
  
• Familiarity with design systems (intro level)
  
• Collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Notion, or similar)
