AI Data Project Manager

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused AI Data Project Manager to lead cross-functional AI and data initiatives from concept to deployment. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, AI/ML development, and business strategy.

You will be responsible for aligning stakeholders, managing timelines and resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring high-quality delivery of AI-driven solutions that create measurable business impact.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data projects (ML models, data pipelines, automation initiatives, analytics platforms, etc.)
  

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics
  

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders
  

• Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
  

• Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and roadmap alignment
  

• Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, model performance, compliance, and deployment
  

• Ensure proper documentation, governance, and compliance with data privacy regulations
  

• Track KPIs and report project status to leadership
  

• Facilitate stakeholder communication and executive updates
  

• Drive continuous improvement in AI project delivery processes
  

Required Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in AI, data, or analytics projects
  

• Strong understanding of AI/ML development lifecycle (data collection, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring)
  

• Experience working with data teams (SQL, data pipelines, APIs, cloud environments)
  

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp, or similar
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  

• Excellent communication skills — able to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing LLM, generative AI, or automation initiatives
  

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  

• Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks
  

• PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification
  

• Experience in a fast-growing startup or digital agency environment
