Job description

This is a remote position.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Specialist-level hands-on experience in SAP development technologies: OO ABAP, the Enhancement Framework, OData Services, Web Services, ALE Integration, and the Eclipse IDE
  • Experienced in the use of SAP troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with FIORI UI development, SAP Integration Services and BTP ABAP is preferred but not required
  • Experience with S/4HANA and SAP BTP is preferred but not required
  • Lead/participate in solution design sessions and level-of-effort estimates
  • Translate business requirements received from the SAP functional analysts into technical specifications
  • Code and unit test custom development objects, based on pre-defined test plans
  • Participate in functional and user acceptance testing in collaboration with the SAP functional analysts
  • Comply with the Software Development Life Cycle SDLC, including transport elevations using ChaRM
  • Oversee the work of an offshore ABAP development team
  • Communicate t-code security requirements to the Security team, and unit test new and modified security roles
  • Performs other duties as required

  • Extensive experience in software development and modern programming languages.
  • Proven experience with Scrum and advanced DevOps methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead junior developers.

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
  • Four or more years of programming experience

Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

Education & Experience Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field

Salary: $57,000 - $145,000
