Job description

This is a remote position.

  • Develop and maintain customer-facing applications in line with company requirements
  • Implement test-driven development best practices
  • Adhere to coding standards for resilience, data, and security
  • Design, test, develop, maintain customer-facing applications in line with company requirements to meet the needs of the business
  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions
  • Working closely with cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals
  • Performs other duties as required


Requirements

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • Experience with modern programming languages
  • Writing API's which connect cloud technologies to other cloud or on-prem technologies
  • Java development language (required)
  • Spring Boot Java framework (optional)
  • Works within the Eclipse development environment (IDE) (optional)
  • Maven for Java (optional)
  • Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for CI and CD deployment pipelines (optional)
  • AWS cloud services for hosting (optional)
  • Docker containers for hosting (optional)
  • Mongo DB for databases for services (optional)
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology and DevOps best practices
  • Communication and team collaboration skills

 

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
  • Zero to two years of programming experience

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience




Salary: $57,000 - $145,000
