Job Description:

The opportunity:

Project management related skills and experience including documentation & reporting requirements; collaborations among internal team and external stakeholders will be a great steps in your future career path. You will be responsible to keep track of document status and provide inputs to project management and relevant parties. You will be supporting the execution of medium size to large and moderately complex electrical/automation products in a busy highly-demanding project site in Vung Tau, Ho Chi Minh city and ensuring that all related activities are performed in accordance with site owners, Hitachi Energy policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, financial targets as well as schedule commitments.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will understand Hitachi Energy’s scope of supply to customers and related parties for the project and its components, follow the codes of conducts of the company, customer, end-user and project site stakeholders, including Health, Safety, Environment, and Integrity aspects.

  • You will closely be working with local (Vietnam based) Project Manager, global (Switzerland based) Project Managers, and project engineers (Project Teams) to understand and facilitate daily execution requirements, in line with requirements of the company’s customer, end-user, and related contractors participating in the project.

  • You will facilitate routine and ad hoc project requirements including administration tasks e.g. car bookings, hotel arrangements, receiving/sending project documents to and from the project office/Project Team members.

  • You will get advice/instructions from the local Project managers for unclear situations and propose proper, monitor, record and verify monthly records of local vendors’ timesheet, time and millage usage of rented cars, hotels, taxi and other expense.

  • You will keep proper documentation records of project files/reports/ decision made following company regulations and instructions from line manager, share lessons learned to drive continuous improvement, comply to Vietnam laws and regulations, internal company policies, procedures, regulations.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • University degree/diploma or bachelor’s degree.

  • High level of integrity, transparency and ownership, problem solving skills and mindset.

  • Strong skills in document management (recording, filing, reporting), knowledge & experience in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoints.

  • Self-responsible and independent working methods as well as a quick in understanding & learning.

  • Team player with high level of reliability, accuracy and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure to help deliver the projects within time, cost and quality boundaries.

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.
