Who We Are

At Platform Science, we’re working to connect everything that moves.

Founded in 2015, we are an open IoT platform that partners with innovative fleets, application developers, vehicle manufacturers, and equipment providers in the transportation industry to deliver revolutionary solutions to supply chain professionals across the globe.

Our employees are an engaging, diverse group of people who believe in the power of great ideas. We hire people with different experiences and perspectives to build a company culture that fuels growth through innovation.

We value thoughtful actions and empathy for others.  We approach challenges with resiliency and creativity, while encouraging transparency because, no matter our backgrounds or responsibilities, we are one team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level NetSuite Administrator to serve as a critical owner and strategic advocate for our core ERP system. In this pivotal role, you will be the technical "connective tissue" of our organization, responsible for driving platform excellence, ensuring system scalability, and maintaining strict alignment with US GAAP financial standards. The ideal candidate will leverage deep NetSuite expertise to optimize business workflows and support our accelerated growth as a dynamic SaaS company.

Essential Responsibilities

  • System Architecture and Optimization: Proactively manage the configuration, customization, and continuous optimization of the NetSuite ERP environment. This includes setting up and modifying records, forms, fields, reports, and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
  • Automation and Development: Develop and maintain sophisticated technical solutions, utilizing SuiteScript for advanced scripting and SuiteFlow for workflow automation, to streamline key business processes and enhance user efficiency.
  • Financial Integrity and Compliance: Partner closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure the NetSuite system accurately enforces and reflects US GAAP principles across all critical financial functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger (GL).
  • Enterprise Integrations: Oversee and manage the integration landscape between NetSuite and critical external platforms, specifically maintaining the connection with Salesforce and managing data flow via third-party APIs (SuiteTalk, REST, Webhooks).
  • Security and User Lifecycle Management: Govern all user access, roles, and permissions to maintain a high-security environment. Implement robust, scalable, and secure procedures for user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Data Governance and Quality: Establish and rigorously enforce best practices for data hygiene, integrity, and compliance across the platform. Manage and validate all complex data imports and exports.
  • Business Process Translation: Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Product). Translate complex business requirements into clear, scalable, and sustainable technical features within NetSuite.
  • Operational Support: Provide expert, frontline technical support and troubleshooting for system errors. Monitor and manage system performance, ensuring timely application of updates and maintaining operational stability.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Experience: 3–5 years of dedicated, hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator in a high-growth environment, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  • NetSuite Expertise: Strong, demonstrable understanding of NetSuite data structures, core APIs, and a commitment to implementing solutions in alignment with the "NetSuite way" for scalable, long-term system design.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid foundational knowledge of US GAAP and core finance processes, specifically AP, AR, and GL.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving: Proven ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve complex system issues, with a strong focus on implementing automated and systemic corrective actions.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a track record of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Proven versatility to handle a diverse range of responsibilities, from providing essential end-user support to leading complex technical development projects.

Preferred Certifications:
