Ciklum is looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Ukraine.

About the role:
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Lead manual and automation testing efforts for enterprise applications with a focus on quality, scalability, and release readiness
- 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering with strong manual and automation testing experience
- Develop, maintain, and execute UI and API automation frameworks using PHP and Selenium
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
- Mentor team members on automation best practices, testing processes, and framework improvements
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to identify risks, troubleshoot defects, and improve overall product quality
- Validate APIs, integrations, and backend processes to ensure reliable data flow across systems
Requirements:
- Develop and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using PHP and Selenium
- Automate end-to-end and regression test scenarios
- Test REST APIs and backend processes
- Validate integrations and data flows between different systems
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Investigate and troubleshoot defects together with developers
- Participate in release validation and quality improvement activities
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English level (both written and spoken)
- Good understanding of payment gateways, transaction lifecycle, reconciliation, clearing, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and engineering teams to define target-state processes and solution requirements
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows (BPMN/UML), acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence, with experience supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, and UAT
