Job summary:



The Regional Sales Manager – China, Taiwan & Hong Kong is responsible for driving student recruitment and revenue growth across Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong for Bayswater's English Language, Professional and Global Gap Year programmes.

The role will focus on developing strategic partnerships with education agents, schools, universities and other recruitment partners to increase student recruitment and expand Bayswater's presence across the region. Working closely with the Regional Sales Director – Asia and the wider commercial team, the successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships and deliver ambitious regional recruitment and revenue targets.

We are seeking a commercially driven sales professional with a strong understanding of the international education sector and demonstrable experience recruiting students to English language, Pathway or Higher Education programmes in the UK, Canada and/or USA.


Job responsibilities:


Sales Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and deliver the annual regional sales plan to achieve agreed student recruitment and revenue targets.
  • Drive recruitment across Bayswater's English Language, Professional and Global Gap Year programmes.
  • Build, manage and strengthen relationships with education agents, schools, universities and strategic partners throughout China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and recruitment channels across the region.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and maximise recruitment opportunities with key partners.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and activity records using the company's CRM system.
  • Represent Bayswater at international education exhibitions, agent workshops, conferences and recruitment events.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to maximise cross-selling opportunities across Bayswater's portfolio.
  • Support the development and growth of customised group programmes where appropriate.
  • Provide regular market intelligence, competitor analysis and recruitment forecasts to support strategic planning.

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Marketing team to deliver regional marketing campaigns tailored to the China, Taiwan and Hong Kong markets.
  • Develop co-funded marketing initiatives with key recruitment partners.
  • Deliver partner training sessions, webinars and product presentations.
  • Ensure all promotional activity is aligned with Bayswater's brand and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, providing recommendations to support future product development and sales strategy.

Education/Qualifications Minimum requirements:



Education

Fluency in Mandarin and English.  Cantonese is also desirable.
Bachelor's degree


Experience

Experience in a similar role.
Experience within the international education sector

An individual with a proven track record of success in international student recruitment
Excellent understanding of the complexities of operating in a variety of international markets
Highly commercial, target-oriented and result-driven
Strong, demonstrated agent relationship management skills, ideally within the EFL sector
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Able to work independently and liaise with colleagues and customers from across the world
Self-motivated with an ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines
Proactive approach to problem solving
Flexible approach to working, excellent time management and organisational skills
Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
Results orientated
A friendly and professional manner and appearance combined with exceptional customer and client service skills and attitude
Willingness to undertake frequent international travel
