Job Summary

The CRM Senior Developer/Administrator is the hands-on internal owner of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and the related Power Platform environment. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, development, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Automate, and related integrations. The role works directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and implement practical solutions, and partners with Product, Engineering, business systems architecture, and external implementation resources as needed. The CRM Senior Developer/Administrator reports to the VP of Software Engineering.


What You’ll Do

  • Platform Administration and Support:

- Administer and maintain Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, and related Power Platform environments, including users, teams, business units, security roles, permissions, upgrades, and service accounts.

- Provide user support and serve as the internal escalation point for complex Dynamics, Power Automate, integration, security, data, and production issues.

- Troubleshoot root causes, coordinate recovery, and communicate status, risk, and next steps clearly.

  • Configuration and Development:

- Configure and develop tables, fields, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, model-driven applications, and Power Automate flows.

- Develop and support Dynamics customizations using JavaScript, C#, plugins, Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, and other supported extension patterns as needed.

  • Integration, Data, and Delivery:

- Support integrations and bidirectional data flows between Dynamics 365 and other business applications, including data imports, updates, migrations, quality issues, monitoring, and synchronization failures.

- Manage Dynamics solutions and deployments across development, test, and production environments, including source control, testing and UAT, releases, rollback, monitoring, and production validation.

  • Business Partnership and Continuous Improvement:

- Work directly with business users to understand problems, clarify requirements, and translate business needs into appropriate configuration or development changes.

- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, business systems architecture, and external implementation resources on larger enhancements and integrations while retaining accountability for CRM platform outcomes.

- Maintain documentation for key configurations, automations, integrations, customizations, and support processes; identify opportunities to improve usability, automation, reliability, performance, and business workflows.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics CRM, including meaningful administration, development, and production ownership.
  • Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Microsoft Dataverse, including configuration, security, solutions, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with JavaScript in Dynamics 365, C# plugins or other Dataverse server-side development, and REST APIs or Dataverse Web API.
  • Experience with system integrations, data synchronization, solution deployments, and application lifecycle management across environments.
  • Strong production troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and turn ambiguous issues into clear, addressable work.
  • Ability to gather and clarify requirements with business stakeholders, communicate with technical and nontechnical partners, and independently manage multiple support and development priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, technical training, or equivalent practical experience.
  • An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.

Preferred Experience

  • Azure Data Factory or other Azure integration technologies, SQL and relational data concepts, or Power BI.
  • Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, or Power Platform application lifecycle management tooling.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.

Work Environment

This person will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm EST with an hour lunch break. Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role operates in a professional #LI-remote office environment. To be considered for this role, you must reside in one of the following states — AL, AK, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MT, MS, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WI, WV, WY. To ensure a secure and stable work environment, candidates must have access to high-speed internet and the ability to connect their workstation directly to their router or modem using an Ethernet (hardwired) connection while working remotely. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with FloresHR team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
