Children Believe is currently recruiting for the following position:
Data & Insights Analyst
Canada Office
The Data & Insights Analyst is the data engine of Children Believe's Marketing & Development (M&D) division. This role is responsible for turning raw data into clear, actionable intelligence — ensuring the division runs on facts, not assumptions, and that every team has the reporting and insights it needs to make smarter decisions and demonstrate impact.
Reporting to the Manager, M&D Operations, this role owns the integrity and usability of M&D's CRM data, manages the full reporting and dashboard ecosystem, and drives innovation in how the division uses digital data and AI-powered tools. It is a hands-on, execution-focused role with real strategic value — the outputs produced here directly shape how the CMDO and M&D Directors measure performance, allocate resources, and tell their story to donors and stakeholders.
This is an ideal role for an analytically strong early-career professional who is eager to grow, build meaningful systems, and see their work directly connected to a mission that changes children's lives.
This role includes, but not limited to:
1. Reporting & Dashboards - 35%
2. CRM Data Management & Integrity - 30%
3. Digital Data & External Sources - 20%
4. AI & Innovation - 15%
The ideal candidate possesses:
Required
Assets
Attributes, Traits, Behaviours:
Analytical Rigour | Finds patterns and meaning in complex datasets. Works accurately under pressure and checks their own work before presenting it. Numbers tell a story — this person knows how to read it. |
Attention to Detail | Data quality is only as good as the person maintaining it. This role requires someone who notices what others miss and takes ownership of getting things exactly right. |
Curiosity & Initiative | Doesn't wait to be told what to investigate. Proactively digs into the data, asks good questions, and brings ideas — including how AI and automation can improve the way M&D works. |
Communication Clarity | Translates technical findings into plain language that non-data audiences can act on. Knows when a table works and when a chart tells the story better. |
Systems Thinking | Understands how data flows connect across tools, teams, and processes. Builds solutions that are sustainable and scalable — not just fixes for today's problem. |
