Job description

About the Role

The Sales Operations Analyst is the analytical engine of our Revenue Operations team, sitting at the intersection of data, process, and decision-making. This role owns core sales reporting, maintains Salesforce data integrity, and drives the operational cadences that keep sales leadership and the field running on accurate, timely information.

You will work directly with the Manager and VP of Sales Operations on work that is visible at the highest levels of the company, from weekly bookings and pipeline reporting to executive and Board-level metrics. This is not a passive support role. You will own your outputs, hold yourself accountable to accuracy, and push the team toward better data and better process.

Responsibilities

Reporting & Analytics

  • Produce recurring bookings, pipeline, and forecast reporting distributed to sales leadership and the executive team

  • Support the monthly sales reporting package, driving toward a faster and more reliable close cycle

  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that support the weekly sales review and forecast cadence

  • Develop and maintain win rate, conversion, and pipeline health reporting for senior leadership and Board-level consumption

  • Analyze pipeline and performance trends to surface risks and opportunities before they show up in the numbers

  • Proactively identify inconsistencies in reported data and resolve them before results are distributed

  • Deliver ad hoc analysis for sales, finance, and executive stakeholders on fast turnaround

Salesforce & Data Integrity

  • Serve as day-to-day Salesforce support for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams

  • Maintain data hygiene and accuracy across opportunity, account, and pipeline records

  • Validate booking values and deal data for accuracy and consistency before they flow into reporting and downstream systems

  • Partner with Finance to reconcile reported bookings against financial systems of record

  • Document the end-to-end opportunity data flow and identify where data quality breaks down

  • Support Salesforce enhancements, testing, and user enablement as the platform evolves

Process Improvement

  • Reduce manual, spreadsheet-based work by moving reporting into Salesforce and modern BI tooling

  • Build scalable, repeatable reporting processes that hold up as the business grows

  • Support reporting and analytical needs for strategic go-to-market initiatives as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, FP&A, or a comparable analytical role

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling

  • Hands-on Salesforce experience building reports and dashboards and managing data quality

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to find the story in a dataset and communicate it clearly

  • Demonstrated ability to own recurring reporting processes with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with comfort presenting findings to senior leadership

  • High attention to detail and a personal standard for data accuracy

Preferred

  • Experience with a modern BI or analytics platform such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

  • SQL or data querying skills

  • Working knowledge of SaaS revenue metrics including ARR, net revenue retention, pipeline velocity, win rate, and bookings

  • Experience supporting a sales forecasting process

  • Exposure to territory design, quota setting, or go-to-market planning

  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment
