The Opportunity:

Avantor à la recherche d’un(e) représentant(e) aux ventes internes dynamique et motivé(e) pour soutenir et développer nos activités de ventes de laboratoire dans le secteur de l’éducation scientifique. Vous aurez l’occasion de promouvoir de façon consultative le vaste portefeuille de produits et de services d’Avantor auprès d’une clientèle diversifiée, composée de clients existants et potentiels. Ce que nous recherchons :

  • Éducation: Diplôme universitaire dans une discipline scientifique ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience pertinente.
  • Expérience: De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un environnement de vente complexe et dynamique impliquant plusieurs parties prenantes et une approche de vente axée sur les solutions préférée.

Qui vous êtes:

  • Expérience en ventes interentreprises (B2B) privilégiée, particulièrement dans les secteurs de la distribution, des laboratoires, de la recherche ou des sciences.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de collaborer efficacement avec les clients, les représentants de fournisseurs, la direction, les spécialistes internes et les collègues.
  • Capacité à interagir avec assurance auprès des propriétaires d’entreprise et des principaux décideurs.
  • Grande autonomie ainsi que d’excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et du territoire.
  • Solides capacités d’analyse et aptitude démontrée à la vente stratégique.
  • Capacité à comprendre les activités et les enjeux des clients afin de cerner des occasions d’offrir des solutions à valeur ajoutée.
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office; une expérience avec un système de gestion de la relation client (CRM) constitue un atout.
  • Le bilinguisme (français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit) est requis. Une connaissance de base de l’anglais est nécessaire afin de communiquer avec les clients, les fournisseurs et les collègues partout au Canada ainsi qu’avec d’autres établissements d’Avantor où l’anglais est la langue de travail principale.
  • Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite satisfaisant.
  • Disponibilité pour effectuer des déplacements occasionnels afin de rencontrer des clients ou participer à des événements. 

Comment vous aurez du succès et créerez un impact :

  • Gérer un territoire composé d’une clientèle diversifiée dans plusieurs segments de marché en offrant les solutions d’Avantor et en mettant en œuvre des stratégies de vente favorisant la croissance des revenus et la rentabilité.
  • Identifier et développer de nouvelles occasions d’affaires grâce à la prospection proactive, à la gestion du pipeline de ventes ainsi qu’à la préparation et à la présentation de propositions convaincantes.
  • Développer les relations avec les clients existants en mettant en place des stratégies de rétention et de croissance adaptées à l’évolution de leurs besoins.
  • Adopter une approche de vente consultative afin d’évaluer les besoins des clients, de recommander les produits et services appropriés et de communiquer la valeur ajoutée des solutions d’Avantor.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides et durables avec les clients afin de favoriser leur satisfaction, leur fidélité et la croissance des affaires.
  • Tirer parti des outils, ressources, initiatives marketing et processus de vente disponibles afin de maximiser l’efficacité et les résultats.
  • Collaborer étroitement avec la direction des ventes pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre des stratégies territoriales permettant d’atteindre les objectifs d’affaires.
  • Collaborer avec les représentants des fournisseurs afin d’approfondir les connaissances sur les produits, d’obtenir des prix concurrentiels et d’améliorer la rentabilité des comptes clients.
  • Agir conformément aux valeurs d’Avantor et respecter le Code de conduite d’Avantor dans toutes les interactions.
  • Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe requise.

Avantor is seeking a dedicated, energic Sales Representative to support and grow our Laboratory Sales business within the Science Education market. You will have the opportunity to consultatively sell Avantor's extensive portfolio of products and services to a diverse group of existing and prospective customers. What we’re looking for: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a complex, dynamic sales environment involving multiple stakeholders and a solution-based selling approach preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, supplier representatives, management, internal specialists, and colleagues.
  • Ability to engage confidently with business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and territory management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic selling capabilities.
  • Ability to understand customer operations and identify opportunities to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is considered an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, both written and spoken) is required. Basic English proficiency is necessary to communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues across Canada and other Avantor locations where English is the primary business language.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
