Job Summary

Identifies problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses them using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions to support the organization's supply chain and delivery goals. Ensures efficient coordination of logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Observes daily logistics operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance with established protocols.
  • Handles scheduling and prioritizing of shipments, ensuring smooth coordination between departments and external partners.
  • Organizes transportation and delivery schedules, optimizing routes to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
  • Prepares shipping and receiving documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Performs inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels and identifying potential shortages.
  • Contacts suppliers, carriers, and customers to resolve issues related to shipments, schedules, or logistics operations.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements by analyzing logistics data and making recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Follows up with team members and external vendors to ensure compliance with operational deadlines and requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards
