Job description

ImagineX is a tech company that deploys AI-assisted teams to build and secure mission-critical enterprise solutions with our clients – spanning software, data, and AI. Structured like a software company, not a traditional consultancy, we blend deep technical expertise with authentic values, achieving world-class satisfaction (NPS 91). Our dedicated teams specialize in software, data, and AI across the U.S. and LATAM, bridging the gap between boutique agility and enterprise scale.

The Senior QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality through comprehensive manual testing, thoughtful test planning, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams. You will validate functionality, uncover defects, and help maintain a high standard of reliability across releases. This role is ideal for someone who excels at understanding user flows, identifying edge cases, and ensuring that every feature meets both functional and business expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites
  • Perform manual functional, exploratory, and acceptance testing across web and mobile applications
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring clear communication with engineering teams
  • Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes prior to release
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to release readiness assessments
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide clear feedback to stakeholders
  • Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in software QA or manual testing roles
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and defect management
  • Experience testing complex user flows, integrations, and multi‑platform systems
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar test management systems
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in agile environments
  • Basic exposure to automation concepts (a plus, but not required)
This role is based in the US and only open to citizens and permanent residents of the US who do not require visa sponsorship.
