You will work across the full technology stack, building scalable applications using React 19, .NET 8, Python, AWS ECS Fargate, and AI-powered development tools. This role offers end-to-end ownership of a greenfield platform that connects laboratory and hospital instruments worldwide, with a focus on IoT connectivity, AI agents, cloud services, and regulated software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI agents using LangGraph, LangChain, or MCP, including RAG pipelines for technical documentation and support knowledge bases.
  • Build cloud-native microservices and REST APIs on AWS ECS Fargate with event-driven architectures.
  • Create installer packages using MSI/NSIS, implement delta updates, rollback mechanisms, and version management.
  • Develop modern dashboards for monitoring instrument health, alerts, software updates, and consumable tracking.
  • Implement automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Participate in legacy modernization efforts from VB6, AngularJS, and TFS to modern cloud technologies.
  • Ensure software quality, security, and compliance for regulated medical software environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience developing and shipping production-grade full-stack applications.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and .NET (C#) or Python backend development.
  • Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols such as MQTT and AMQP, or experience with edge device integration.
  • Experience with software packaging, installers, Docker containers, or application update mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered developer tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing software for medical devices or regulated environments (IEC 62304, FDA CFR Part 21, IVD).
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI agents using LangGraph, MCP, or LangChain in production.
  • Experience with AWS ECS Fargate, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of legacy technologies such as AngularJS, VB6, or TFS, particularly for modernization projects.
  • Experience handling healthcare data with HIPAA awareness and maintaining audit trails.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, CloudWatch, S3, and SQS.

This position is being hired for a customer of Gruve.

  • Corp-to-Corp contractor arrangement
