Job description

Overview:

At Groups, our mission is to deliver life-changing care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We are building technology-enabled care models that improve access, outcomes, and experience for our members, at scale.

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead strategy and execution across a critical portfolio of products and platforms at the core of our clinical and operational ecosystem. This is a highly influential, senior individual contributor role with broad ownership, significant autonomy, and direct impact on how care is delivered.

The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role. You will operate at the intersection of clinical care, technology, and growth, owning a portfolio that directly shapes member engagement, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.

You will set direction, define success, and drive enterprise-level decisions, while raising the bar for product management across the organization.

This position is fully remote, however, for this role, we are prioritizing candidates who align with the Eastern time zone (EDT/EST) for consistent overlap and availability with our core clinical and operational teams.

Salary range $180k - $200k.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Own

  • Define and lead the strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of interconnected products and platforms.
  • Own end-to-end outcomes, including performance, adoption, and impact across systems and vendor partnerships.
  • Establish and drive a metrics framework that sets the standard for product performance and accountability.
  • Lead build vs. buy vs. partner decisions, balancing speed, cost, and long-term scalability.
  • Partner with Engineering on architecture and platform decisions, ensuring alignment with business and clinical priorities.
  • Design member-centric experiences, including conversational and interaction flows that guide individuals to the right care at the right time.
  • Influence cross-functional strategy and investment decisions across Product, Clinical Operations, Growth, IT, and external partners.
  • Shape how adjacent teams prioritize and execute work beyond your direct scope.
  • Establish governance, documentation, and compliance standards to support scale in a regulated healthcare environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Improve member engagement and care navigation through thoughtful product design.
  • Drive measurable gains in clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Elevate product practice through data rigor, experimentation, and mentorship.
  • Enable smarter, faster decisions through clear metrics and actionable insights.
