JOB SUMMARY

This position will work as the outside sales representative to best serve the needs of the dealers in their territory (IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, KS, NE, SD, ND). The Field Market Manager would frequently serve as a combination of a salesperson, customer service representative, technical specialist, and financial advisor. The Field Market Manager is a point of contact and provides customer support, upselling, technical assistance, and general relationship management.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Develop a short and mid-term sales territory strategy, considering market, key accounts, ENVE dealer base, and consumer insight balanced against ENVE’s long-term objectives.
  2. Principal sales rep in-territory, focused on activities related to sell-in and sell-through.
  3. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  4. Gather key market input, “voice of customer” feedback and provide to leadership team to help calibrate future strategy and direction.
  5. Function as ENVE primary point of sales contact in dedicated territory. Utilize phone, email, and ZenDesk systems to achieve communication SLA’s and provide best in class service to dealers. 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

  1. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Product, Promotions, and Supply Chain groups.
  3. Spend time traveling for dealer visits and key event support.
  4. Manage POP program with accounts.
  5. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
  6. Adhere and uphold all Company policies and procedures.
  7. Follow all procedures as they pertain to this position.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Departmental and organizational goals and objectives.
  • Effective communication and ability to work with all departments.
  • Compliance with Company policies (e.g., safety, quality, attendance, etc.).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This job does not have any internal supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. The position is headquartered out of Ogden, UT although remote work is available for this position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (R) = Required (P) = Preferred (Equivalent combinations will be considered)

(P) Bachelor’s degree in sales, business, marketing, or other related areas of study.

(R) 5+ years of experience in customer service, digital marketing, or e-commerce.

(R) Experience in product forecasting, goal setting, and performance measurement.

(R) Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

(R) Ability to use a computer/tablet/keyboard.

(R) Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

(P) Proficiency in SAP by Design (or similar ERP system).

SKILLS (LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, REASONING, OTHER)

Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and limited supervision to meet deadlines.

Possess excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across the department, within the organization, with customers and other external parties.

Exhibit leadership, including attention to detail, excellent business and competitive analytical skills, solid decision-making skills, project management skills, and a strong work ethic.

Proven performer in goal-oriented sales environment, leading and managing a sales team in meeting goals.

Demonstrated logic and reasoning skills.

Ability to listen to, understand and identify customer needs.

Ability to lead in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Adaptable and capable of multi-tasking, problem solving, and thriving in a busy environment individually or in a team.

PHYSICAL / VISUAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to work in a typical office and outdoor environments.

Requires sitting for long periods of time at a keyboard in an office environment but can also require walking, standing, bending, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching to perform the functions of this position.

Must be able to safely carry products and promotional items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to understand the speech of another person and to speak clearly so listeners can understand.

Muse be able to travel by car and/or air, domestically and/or internationally.


Salary Description
$65K-$75K DOE
