Job description

Internship Dates: September 2026 – December 30, 2026 (with potential to extend)

Internship Hours: 15 hours/ Week 

Pay: $15+ per hour (based on location and experience)

We’re looking for an innovative, self-starting intern to join the BBYO Center for Adolescent Wellness beginning September 2026. The ideal candidate can work independently, is hardworking and eager to learn, and has a passion for mental health. We will work with your college schedule!

We are the Jewish community's largest and fastest-growing pluralistic platform for reaching and inspiring Jewish teens, built on nearly a century storied history. We support over 700 local, teen-led local chapters across more than 50 countries, at more than 100-weekend retreats during the school year and across a rapidly growing suite of global exchanges, campaigns, and movement initiatives all year-round. What Is BBYO Center for Adolescent Wellness?   

The BBYO Center for Adolescent Wellness helps to ensure that Youth Serving Organizations – camps, schools, JCCs, after-school programs, etc. – are places where adolescents thrive mentally, emotionally, and socially. We write policy ad provide training to Youth Serving Organizations across the country.

 

Who you are:  

You are a college-age student passionate about and looking to grow your skills in the mental health field. You find joy in training and education. You are excited to research, problem-solve, and think creatively about ways to support and improve youth mental health.  You can work on multiple projects at the same time and are a self-starter and motivator.  

 

What you'll get to do as our Intern:  

  • Create, edit, and deliver BBYO CAW training on new topics
  • Research mental health trends and important updates
  • Research and reach out to potential BBYO CAW clients
  • Supporting BBYO CAW’s social media
  • Support and move BBYO CAW’s client resource management to Airtable
  • Data collection and entry from BBYO CAW trainings
  • Research and development for new special projects related to the BBYO Center for Adolescent Wellness
  • Support International Convention compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Role Requirements:  

  • A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable working collaboratively and taking initiative 
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and willing to learn new systems 
  • Proficient with SurveyMonkey
  • Strong data-entry skills required 
  • Availability to work up to 15-20 hours/week 
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without holding a visa or sponsorship  
  • Comfortable working in a virtual setting liaising with team members across U.S. time zones
