About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with strong hands-on Salesforce experience to join our growing team on a 3-month remote contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and functionality of Salesforce-based solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers, Salesforce teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to drive both manual and automated testing efforts and ensure that Salesforce implementations meet business and technical requirements.

Salesforce experience is a must-have for this role.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios for Salesforce applications and solutions.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce environments.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for Salesforce-based applications.
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, integrations, workflows, and business processes against functional and technical requirements.
  • Review business and technical requirements to ensure consistency, completeness, and testability.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify Salesforce-related defects through to resolution.
  • Test integrations between Salesforce and external systems and validate data flow and system behavior.
  • Perform regression testing following Salesforce releases, configuration changes, and new feature implementations.
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure product stability and quality.
  • Work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, product owners, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, test strategies, and automation coverage.
  • Suggest product and functionality improvements based on usability, quality, and customer experience standards.
  • Support UAT activities and ensure business requirements are properly validated before release.

Requirements

  •  7+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance/Quality Control, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead QA role.
  • Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications and solutions is a MUST.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce testing, including functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce functionality, configurations, customizations, and integrations from a QA/testing perspective.
  • Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing, including hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
  • Experience designing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites for complex software systems.
  • Experience testing integrations between Salesforce and external applications or systems.
  • Strong track record of identifying, isolating, and documenting critical bugs and edge cases, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience leading and mentoring QA teams and managing quality processes in Agile or hybrid development environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business impact.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Experience working with CI/CD environments and understanding of software release processes is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
