Software Engineer (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer with a passion for Artificial Intelligence to join our innovative team at SS&C Technologies, Inc. This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions to enhance our financial technology products and services.

What you will get to do

* Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable software solutions incorporating AI/Machine Learning models.
* Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality AI-driven features.
* Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms, including but not limited to natural language processing, predictive analytics, and computer vision.
* Develop and maintain data pipelines for AI model training and inference.
* Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
* Research and evaluate new AI technologies and methodologies to continuously improve our offerings.
* Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
* Contribute to the overall architecture and design of AI systems.

What you will Bring

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
* 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on AI/ML applications.
* Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
* Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
* Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

Maryland: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 100000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 10000 USD. Minnesota: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 110000 USD. Hawaii: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 110000 USD. Maine: The expected base salary for the position is between 80000 USD to 110000 USD.

 

 

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
