The Business Systems Analyst III plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, focusing on improving business processes and supporting strategic corporate initiatives. This mid-level role takes on more complex projects, acts as a primary liaison for certain stakeholders and plays a more active role in defining and implementing IT solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker, excelling in translating business requirements into actionable software specifications, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Business Process Analysis: Lead the analysis and documentation of intermediate-level business processes to identify significant opportunities for improvement and automation, driving efficiency across OBHG.
Stakeholder Liaison:Act as the primary liaison between specific business unit stakeholders (management, end-users) and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of needs and expectations.
Requirement Documentation:Translate business requirements into detailed software specifications that guide development teams effectively and ensure alignment with business goals.
Data Evaluation:Lead the assessment and documentation of required data and information, using advanced business process modeling and data analysis techniques to optimize information flow and enhance project outcomes.
System Needs Consultation:Consult with users to define system requirements, taking ownership of the process.
Solution Design:Develop and document comprehensive system specifications, including complex inputs and outputs, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and feasible.
Testing and Implementation:Oversee the creation of detailed testing plans and scripts, leading system implementation, and validation efforts to ensure seamless integration.
Continuous Improvement:Proactively identify and recommend significant enhancements to OBHG applications, with a focus on improving efficiency and user experience.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Business Systems Analyst I, fostering their professional development.
