Senior Programmer/Analyst - Remote

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a Remote position with a Regional Financial Institution. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $60.00 - $61.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This resource will join the Enterprise Payments organization to modify existing software/application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or write new programs to support user and management needs. The role involves working with mainframe technologies and is open to remote candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, test, debug, document, and implement programs
• Consult with users to design, modify, and explain program changes or to provide technical support
• Resolve problems which occur in production systems
• Help with setting up outbound files for new customers
• Help test inbound files and with EDI file setups
• Help with running batch job streams when needed
• Help with manual testing of files and documenting test results
• Perform other duties as assigned

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7+ years of Mainframe experience with COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL, and Easytrieve
• Working knowledge of Changeman and ServiceNow

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work independently and multitask within a collaborative work environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Banking experience in Payment Management
• Experience with file formats
• Zeke scheduler
• Previous experience in an agile environment
