Job Description
One of our clients operates prominently in the financial sector, where we enhance operations across their extensive network of 150,000 workstations and support a workforce of 4,500 employees. Our IT solutions ensure streamlined processes and heightened security, enabling them to maintain leadership in financial technology.
Responsibilities
- Tailor client solutions: Conduct research, assessments, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions tailored to client needs
- Deliver high-quality code: Ensure the delivery of high-quality code that meets requirements, with a focus on performance
- Drive Continuous Improvement: You will proactively identify areas for improvement in existing programs and lead refactoring efforts
- Team collaboration: Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients
- Provide client consultancy: Offer technical consultancy services to clients to ensure solutions meet their requirements
- Nurture Knowledge: Mentor colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in web application development using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks/libraries such as Angular, RxJS, Angular Material, along with strong SCSS/CSS and HTML best practices
- Excellent English communication skills, for effective collaboration with teams and clients
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including debugging and performance testing
- Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions across different application components
- Solid understanding of client-server communication, protocols, and REST principles
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum / SAFe) within cross-functional squads
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and Atlassian tools
- Interest in and hands-on experience with XP practices such as pair programming, TDD, DDD, and simple design
- Ability to adapt strategies and working methods based on specific project needs and contexts
- Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result
Nice to Have:
- German language knowledge
- Knowledge of frameworks and adjacent technologies used in projects (NodeJS, Docker, etc.)
- Willingness and experience in developing colleagues with lower seniority, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Application lifecycle and CI/CD knowledge
- Security and UI/UX experience
