Job description

The number and complexity of IT services and processes at NN keep growing. To make sure they remain reliable, secure and compliant, we are looking for someone who understands how they work, can connect the right people and processes, and enjoys finding ways to simplify and automate them.

Within the Non-Life S&I Process Management team, we are looking for someone with a strong technical mindset who can identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven solutions in our work. Functional and technical application management capabilities would also be valuable for this role, including application lifecycle management, monitoring and performance optimization, user access management, interface and integration management, automation of operational tasks, and coordination with vendors and development teams.

That is why we are hiring a Business Process Engineer in Prague now.

Your impact at NN

You will join a team that makes sure our IT services run reliably, securely and in line with internal and external requirements. You will work on IT service management, automation, cloud governance, IT General Controls, vendor management, incident coordination and service lifecycle management. Improving and standardizing processes will also be an important part of your role.

With a strong technical mindset, you will identify opportunities to streamline our work through automation and AI-driven solutions, helping to increase efficiency, improve service quality and reduce operational risk.

The tasks you will perform

  • ​Manage IT services and IT chains end to end in line with ITIL principles.

  • ​Be a technical sparring partner for functional management teams and engineers.

  • ​Design and maintain User Access Management, including roles, authorizations and regular access reviews.

  • ​Support MFA, SSO and identity integrations.

  • ​Coordinate, improve and automate IT General Controls wherever possible.

  • ​Make sure we meet our SLAs, internal risk standards and external regulations, such as DORA.

  • ​Work with engineers on Azure- and AWS-based services, especially in security, continuity, backup and recovery.

  • ​Look for and implement opportunities to use automation and artificial intelligence in services and controls.

  • ​Support application lifecycle management, monitoring, performance optimization, and interface and integration management.

  • ​Coordinate operational activities with vendors, development teams and relevant internal stakeholders.

The knowledge and experience you bring

  • ​Advanced or professional English at C2 level.

  • ​Strong computer skills and professional knowledge of relevant tools.

  • ​A strong interest in IT Service Management and a technical way of thinking.

  • ​Experience in functional or application management, or a strong interest in developing in this area.

  • ​Good knowledge of ITIL processes, such as incident, change, problem and configuration management.

  • ​Experience with User Access Management, authorization concepts and identity and access controls.

  • ​A mindset focused on improvement and automation.

  • ​The ability to work well with technical and non-technical colleagues.
