The Cystic Fibrosis Technician supports the safe, timely, and accurate processing of specialty medications for patients with Cystic Fibrosis. This role works closely with pharmacists, clearance teams, concierge, and contact center partners to ensure efficient medication access while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and patient experience. CF Technicians play a critical role in managing complex workflows, coordinating outreach, and supporting turnaround time (TAT) goals for CF therapies.

This role requires technicians to work confidently in CareCentral, RxHome, and TMW, allowing the team to shift resources based on workload and priority. CF Technicians assist with prescription intake, task processing, escalations, and outbound calls. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to move seamlessly between systems to ensure timely, accurate access to CF therapies and a smooth patient experience.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 4 morning shifts [8:00am-4:30pm EST] and 1 closing shift [11:30am - 8:00pm EST]

Note: Friday closing shift rotation (approximately every 10 weeks), 11:30am - 8:00pm Eastern time

Will there be training for CF and/or the systems?

  • Yes, we’ll ensure the technician selected has appropriate training for the CF medications and any function they’ll be working. 

What you need to do the job: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 1+ year(s) of experience at Accredo/Evernorth.

  • You MUST reside and hold a pharmacy technician license in Indiana, Ohio or Florida.

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license required in state of Indiana, Ohio or Florida.  An active Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.

  • Basic math and computer skills including Windows navigation, Microsoft applications, internet and email required.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.

  • Make outbound calls to patients or providers as needed to support follow‑up and coordination.

  • Ability to learn internal systems, processes and programs as needed.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 18 - 27 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
