Job description

The Role

The Analyst, Sales Operations & Category Analytics will join the Sales team, supporting Sales Operations and Category with reporting, analytics, and proactive notification of any concerns or opportunities. This role will collaborate extensively with internal teams and external partners, ensuring that information and reporting flows accurately and in a timely manner to relevant parties. The Analyst will also identify areas of opportunity for automation and build workflows to better support Sales, distributor, and retailer needs. This is a full-time (40h/week), salaried, remote position with a compensation range of MXN $35,000 to $36,667 per month.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Operations

  • Monitor inventory levels, inbound schedules, and 3PL risk, flagging fulfillment issues before they reach and impact retailers.

  • Maintain OTIF, out-of-stock, and inventory risk reporting on a fixed daily/weekly cadence for both internal and customer use; build Sales-facing reports on shipment trends, on-hand inventory, and weeks of supply by item and retailer.

  • Coordinate with distributors (UNFI and KeHE) on order status, fill rates, and supply discrepancies, proactively escalating risk to Sales leaders.

  • Respond to customer order inquiries, tracking, and BOLs/PODs.

  • Category Management

  • Own the monthly retail performance scorecard and report-out for retail calls, tracking overall business performance against plan.

  • Track competitor performance using SPINS/syndicated data to flag category shifts.

  • Monitor and report on new item launches and early performance across key accounts.

  • Cross-department

  • Use advanced AI tools (e.g. Claude Cowork/Code) and Excel to automate reporting and streamline workflows across Sales Operations and Category teams.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Travel (<5%) may be required on an as-needed basis with advance notice provided to the employee.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in CPG or retail, ideally in category management or sales operations.

  • Advanced proficiency with AI coding/automation tools (e.g., Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar) is required

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, functions).

  • Familiarity with syndicated data (SPINS, Circana, or Nielsen) required; able to pull and read competitive and new-item data.

  • Basic exposure to inventory or supply chain reporting (OTIF, fill rate) is a plus.

  • Business/professional level of fluency in written and verbal English is required (e.g. B2, C1, C2).

  • Excellent collaborative skills, able to prioritize and work proactively.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

  • This role involves sitting most of the time but may also involve moving for brief periods of time.
