GLOBAL DELIVERY LEADER

ROLE PURPOSE

The Global Delivery Leader will play a key role in transforming sa.global’s delivery function from a traditional project-based execution model into a scalable, AI-enabled delivery ecosystem that supports modern, outcome-driven services and long-term business growth.

This role owns the design, implementation, and ongoing performance of the global delivery operating model, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic direction. While the CEO retains ultimate accountability for organization-wide operating model decisions, the Global Delivery Leader drives the transformation agenda, brings the model to life, and ensures successful adoption across the business.

The role will be instrumental in shaping how sa.global delivers value to clients by building a delivery organization that is agile, efficient, data-driven, and ready for the future. The Global Delivery Leader will ensure delivery capabilities are aligned with sa.global’s evolution toward AI-led transformation, managed services, and recurring revenue models.

WHO THRIVES IN THIS ROLE

You are a builder who has done this before — taken a delivery function that was designed for a different era and rewired it for scale, speed, and modern service models. You are energized by complexity and unfazed by resistance, because you know that transformation only works when people adopt it, not just when the slides are approved.

You think of systems, not projects. You see the connection between delivery methodology, margin, workforce planning, and client outcomes — and you can hold all those threads without losing sight of what matters most: that delivery is the place where strategy either becomes real or falls apart.

You are comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, product, and finance leaders, and you know how to drive accountability across regions without relying on hierarchy alone. You are genuinely curious about how AI changes delivery — not as a buzzword, but as a practical lever for doing better work, faster, with fewer manual steps.

If you want a role where the operating model is settled and the playbook is written, this is not it. If you want to define both — and see them adopted across a global business in the middle of a real transformation — this is exactly the right place.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Own delivery transformation: Define and drive the shift from traditional project-based delivery to AI-accelerated, automated, and repeatable service delivery. Ensure alignment with the broader AI transformation programme and the transition toward higher-value offerings.

Own the global delivery operating model: Design and implement a standardised delivery methodology with clear governance, consistent execution across regions, and measurable adoption. Drive simplification and remove structural barriers to scalability.

Own delivery technology, tools, and data: Modernize the delivery technology landscape by integrating automation and AI capabilities. Establish data-driven visibility on project performance, risks, margins, and delivery outcomes.

Lead service innovation and new offering readiness: Build delivery capabilities to support new services including AI transformation engagements, managed services, and outcome-based models. Formally sign off delivery structural readiness as the GDL’s gate in the readiness-to-sell process: commercial readiness is confirmed by the Vertical Leader; delivery structural readiness is confirmed by the GDL; the Head of Revenue Operations then issues the readiness-to-sell approval once both gates are passed. Where delivery structural readiness cannot be confirmed, escalate to the CEO before any offering enters the market.

Own capacity and workforce model: Define and optimize the global delivery workforce model, including utilization of service centres and cross-regional resource allocation, in partnership with the CPO who holds Accountable authority for people strategy and workforce planning. The GDL owns delivery capacity as an operational input to the business plan; workforce design, compensation structures, and talent strategy decisions are made in partnership with the CPO. Ensure the right delivery capabilities and capacity are in place to support growth.

Own delivery performance and economics: Drive delivery margin through utilization management, cost-to-serve optimization, and operational efficiency. Delivery margin is distinct from pricing strategy, which is owned by the Vertical Leader within the group pricing framework governed by the Head of Revenue Operations; the GDL influences margin through the cost side of delivery economics, not through pricing decisions. Improve delivery predictability and ensure strong linkage between delivery execution and financial results, reporting delivery economics to the CFO.

Lead PMO and governance: Establish consistent project lifecycle, reporting, and forecasting standards across all regions. Ensure strong governance, risk management, and adoption of best practices.

Drive AI-enabled delivery practices and Client Zero adoption: Ensure delivery teams are first adopters of sa.global’s own agentic workflows, proving value internally before taking them to clients. Redesign delivery processes to be AI-ready and embed human–AI collaboration as a standard way of working.

KEY OUTCOMES — WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Delivery operates through a single, globally adopted operating model with standardized methodologies, governance, and reporting in use across all regions and entities.

Delivery margins and utilization are improving measurably, with clear visibility into project economics, risks, and outcomes through data-driven reporting.

New offerings — including AI transformation and managed services — ability to execute globally and consistently, with delivery readiness validated before GTM launch and capacity confirmed with the GTM Leader and CEO.

Delivery teams are active Client Zero adopters of sa.global’s agentic workflows, with AI embedded in delivery processes, measurably reducing manual effort and accelerating project timelines — and generating credible internal reference cases for client conversations.

The delivery function is recognized internally as a competitive advantage, not a bottleneck — with consistent quality, reliable capacity planning, and strong cross-functional alignment with GTM, Product, and Finance.
