Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with Strong hands-on experience building LLM-powered backend systems using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). Expertise in embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, prompt engineering, structured output validation, and scalable data pipelines supporting GenAI applications.

Your role in our mission

  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates data/systems business requirements for existing and new development.
  • Documents technical and business specifications and functional needs and modifies existing requirements
  • Leads the data analysis and profile efforts for new client implementations and system enhancements.
  • Facilitates technical meetings with IT and business project team.
  • Provides data mappings, user interface specifications, processing logic as per business requirements to the Developer.
  • Communicates with clients, developers and other team members.
  • Tests development efforts and assists clients in user acceptance testing.
  • Creates and maintains a project plan, documents meeting notes and distributes to team.
  • Provides regular status reports to clients, developers, and management as needed.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior Analysts on the team as needed.

What you should expect in this role

  • Fully Remote Opportunity – Work from anywhere in the U.S. 
  • Minimal Travel Required – Occasional travel opportunities (0-10%). 
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
