 We are looking for a Middle Full Stack Developer to join an international project focused on scientific platforms for the pharmaceutical industry.

You will work with modern Front-end and Back-end technologies, cloud-native infrastructure, and microservices architecture while collaborating closely with distributed engineering teams and Customer representatives from Sweden. The role is suitable for specialists who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and contributing to scalable, secure, and high-impact solutions.

CUSTOMER

Our Customer is a Sweden-based company operating in the pharmaceutical and life sciences domain. The company develops advanced digital solutions that help pharmaceutical organizations and researchers accelerate medicine development, improve collaboration around scientific models, and support technical and regulatory workflows.

PROJECT

The project is a web-based platform for uploading, storing, visualizing, and analyzing mathematical and computational models used in pharmaceutical research and drug development. The solution enables researchers and pharmaceutical companies to work more efficiently with scientific data, simulations, and regulatory documentation.

The platform includes scalable microservices architecture, secure authentication and authorization flows, event-driven integrations, and cloud-native infrastructure. The team follows SAFe practices and actively collaborates with Customer stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Coming up with well-designed technical solutions and robust code
  • Develop new features and components, refactoring, debugging, and maintaining software
  • Peer code reviews, following engineering practices
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Analyze requirements and prepare detailed design for the features
  • Create Technical documentation
  • Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer
  • Be active member of SAFe, take part in estimation, grooming and planning sessions

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of commercial software development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
  • Proven production experience with Next.js
  • Good experience with Node.js and NestJS
  • Strong understanding of scalable API design principles
  • Experience working with PostgreSQL databases
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with NATS.io or similar event-streaming technologies
  • Experience integrating Keycloak or similar IAM/SSO solutions
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of application security best practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Upper-Intermediate English level or higher

WILL BE A PLUS

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences projects
  • Experience working with scientific or computational platforms
  • Familiarity with Python and R for scientific computing workflows
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-sensitive systems
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed systems
