Are you passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and shaping the future of clinical research?

We are looking for a Manager II, Clinical Operations to lead a team of clinical research professionals across the UK/IRE. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within our evolving Clinical Network, supporting staff across both FSO and FSP delivery models.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of clinical professionals.
  • Drive performance management, career development, engagement and succession planning.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and regulatory oversight.
  • Manage resource allocation, utilisation, workload forecasting and workforce planning.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and talent development activities.
  • Partner with project teams, sponsors and operational leaders to ensure successful study delivery.
  • Champion continuous improvement, standardisation and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years' clinical research experience gained within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environment
  • Experience supporting global or regional clinical trial delivery.
  • Previous people leadership experience with a proven ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams would be advantageous.
  • Ability to balance employee engagement with performance accountability.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, GCP and quality requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills.
