Job description

Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers-Civitek Solutions, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is actively recruiting for an E-Commerce Payment Processor.

Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba Civitek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. Civitek is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, Inc. (FCCC). 

The E-Commerce Payment Processor is responsible for facilitating phone payments for child support, court cases, traffic fines, fees, or other transactions using various E-Commerce websites. Confidentiality is critical to this position, as it requires handling sensitive personal data for customers. This is a full-time position located in Tallahassee, FL and may occasionally be remote following training. 


This position is an hourly position from 11:00 am ET – 8:00 pm ET. 

 

The ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required.

 

Relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for responding to payment line service calls in a timely and courteous manner. 
  • Facilitates secure transactions via phone on accounts using various E-Commerce websites. 
  • Ensure all incidents and requests are tracked and logged in the incident management tool, Ivanti. 
  • Responsible for responding to customers questions concerning return payments and disabled cases. 
  • Provide immediate notification to appropriate staff of escalated issues or complaints. 
  • Respond promptly and professionally when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence, E-mail, and TEAMS messages. Use good grammar and professional writing skills.
  • Utilizes various payment tracking systems, contacts, etc., as required. Monitor and ensure regular follow-up on all outstanding payments as instructed in the desk procedures. 
  • Communicate with co-workers, management staff, Clerk’s offices, attorney offices, and the public in a courteous and professional manner. 
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, and instructions. 
  • Provide high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers. 
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of information and data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Comply with all policies and standards



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Possess accurate office procedures, practices and policy skills.
  • Ability to work with difficult customers by representing the organization in a professional and courteous manner, resulting in a satisfactory resolution of the matter.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time, strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize work assignments, work independently and multi-task.
