Job description

As Junior Project Manager for Data Innovation & International Strategy, you will support the global Laboratory Information Management System deployment across the UK, Singapore, Spain, Japan, and Finland — a highly diverse environment in terms of regulation, language, and clinical practice, where data standardization is a critical success factor. IDEXX is the world's leading veterinary diagnostics and software company, present in over 175 countries with a network of more than 90 reference laboratories. We're rolling out our next-generation cloud LIMS platform, Clouded Leopard, across our international network — and data is the backbone of that transformation.

Global master data standardization

Help define and roll out global standards for key data domains: reference intervals, reporting comments, and (if scope extends) test definitions.

Ensure every standard makes sense medically, fits regulatory constraints, and works with local lab practices.

Deliverable: standardization frameworks and global data models.

Laboratory Information Management System deployment support (Clouded Leopard)

Support deployment teams across the UK, Singapore, Spain, Japan, and Finland.

Assess local master data maturity and identify gaps versus global standards.

Propose localization vs. harmonization trade-offs, working with lab operations, product management, and technology teams.

Deliverable: country readiness & data harmonization reports.

Data innovation & value creation

Identify innovative uses of standardized data: AI-assisted diagnostics, cross-country benchmarking of veterinary trends, automated interpretation comments.

Explore data-driven tools: NLP on reporting comments, knowledge base structuring, smart diagnostic templates. Deliverable: innovation roadmap and pilot use cases.

Governance & change management

Contribute to a global data governance model: data owners, stewards, validation workflows, quality controls.

Support adoption across regions: communication materials, training content, stakeholder engagement.

Deliverable: governance framework and adoption strategy.

“How can a global veterinary diagnostics company leverage master data standardization as a lever for innovation and international scalability in the deployment of a cloud-based laboratory information system?”

You're finishing a Master's degree and want more than a spreadsheet internship. You want to help shape how a global company runs its diagnostics data — across five countries, dozens of stakeholders, and technology that's actually shipping. This apprenticeship puts you at the center of it.

What makes this role different

International exposure from day one — you'll work directly with stakeholders across Europe, APAC, and North America.

You'll interact with veterinary experts, data governance teams, and IT/LIMS program leaders.

You'll go beyond execution: structuring data as a strategic asset, bridging science, healthcare, and digital transformati Laboratory Information Management System on.

You'll build real, portfolio-worthy deliverables: a global standardization playbook, country readiness assessments, an innovation use-case portfolio, a governance framework, and executive presentations.

Who we're looking for

Currently enrolled in a Master's program (Bac+4/5) — business, engineering, data, health/life sciences or international management.

Fluent English required (this role works daily with international teams); French is a plus.

Curious about data, digital transformation, and the veterinary/healthcare sector.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working with stakeholders across cultures and time zones.

Structured, autonomous, and not afraid to ask “why” before “how.”

The practical details

Apprenticeship contract (contrat d'apprentissage), 12 months, starting September 2026.

Rhythm: 3 weeks in the company, 1 week at school.

Monthly salary: €1,700 gross.

Based at our Saint-Denis (93200) office, with remote work possible — open to students anywhere in France.

Open to all higher-education institutions in France.

What we offer

A real seat at the table on a global, strategic program — not just support tasks.

Exposure to international, cross-functional teams and a genuinely diverse, inclusive culture.

Flexibility: remote-friendly, with the option to be on-site in Saint-Denis.

A company culture built around a purpose that matters: better care for pets, safer water, healthier livestock.

Diversity & Inclusion

IDEXX values a diverse workforce and inclusive workplace and strongly encourages applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
