The Ecommerce Assistant plays a key role in the daily execution of our ecommerce operations. This position supports order processing, inventory management, product setup, and marketplace maintenance to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately, inventory remains synchronized, and product listings are current across all assigned sales channels.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with systems and data, and thrives in a fast-moving operational environment.

Order Processing & Execution

• Process and monitor daily order flow across assigned ecommerce marketplaces.
• Ensure orders are released, routed, and shipped within required service level agreements (SLAs).
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate order exceptions, including holds, errors, and missing information.
• Help ensure smooth daily order fulfillment with minimal delays.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory across internal systems and marketplace platforms.
• Support inventory updates, adjustments, and discrepancy investigations.
• Help minimize oversells, stockouts, and fulfillment issues through proactive monitoring.

Product Setup & Listing Maintenance

• Create and launch new SKUs across assigned ecommerce channels.
• Maintain accurate product listings, including pricing, descriptions, attributes, and images.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure listings reflect current inventory and product information.

Marketplace & Customer Support

• Respond to customer reviews and basic inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Escalate issues involving orders, deliveries, product quality, or marketplace compliance.
• Help maintain strong seller performance metrics and marketplace standards.

Reporting & Team Communication

• Provide daily updates on order activity, operational issues, and exceptions.
• Track operational metrics such as order volume, cancellations, fulfillment errors, and inventory discrepancies.
• Participate in daily team meetings and communicate effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Support cross-functional projects and other ecommerce initiatives as needed.

Non-Negotiable:

• At least 1 year of experience within a local or international ecommerce company (data entry, operations or order management)
• Proficient is Microsoft Excel
• Experience in any ecommerce marketplace platforms

Negotiable

• Familiarity with platforms such as Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, Wayfair, Home Depot, Target, or similar ecommerce channels.
