About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence and Operations, to join our team. As a Manager, Business Intelligence and Operations, you will drive strategic analytics and reporting solutions that support clinical research operations and advance new treatments for patients. This position plays a key role in translating complex operational data into actionable insights, ensuring data accuracy and governance, and enabling leadership decision-making. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Safety and Logistics, follow industry-standard processes, and contribute to operational excellence from planning through execution.
 

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, analyzing operational performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, with opportunities to deepen your expertise in business intelligence and influence organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions supporting Safety and Logistics stakeholders to drive data-informed decision making.

  • Own the reporting lifecycle, including data validation, governance, refreshing processes, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Analyze operational performance data and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas to support strategic planning.

  • Design and implement reporting automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.

  • Create executive-ready reports, business reviews, and performance summaries to support leadership decision making and strategic initiatives.

  • Facilitate regular KPI performance reviews and operational discussions using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Support Rhythm of Business activities, governance reviews, and operational planning processes across the organization.

  • Lead reporting and analytics improvement initiatives and drive standardization of reporting processes and best practices.

  • Ensure reporting solutions adhere to data governance standards and maintain audit-ready documentation for all reporting processes.
     

You'll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design expertise, combined with proficiency in Excel and Power Query.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to executive-level audiences.

  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

  • A data-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and governance.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

  • 5-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Business Operations, Program Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience developing and managing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.

  • Experience supporting senior leaders with business insights and operational reporting.

  • Demonstrated success working across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of data governance principles, KPI development, and performance management frameworks.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a global, matrixed organization.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Azure Data Services.

  • Experience with reporting automation tools and techniques.

  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), Data Analytics or Data Science certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
