Due to business and compliance requirements, this position is open only to candidates residing in Mexico. Applications from candidates outside this region will not be considered.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, full-stack Product Manager to support the evolution of Mitratech's Applicant Tracking System (ATS) within our HR Solutions (HRS) division.

This is not a purely strategic PM role. You will be expected to write detailed requirements, run day-to-day sprint execution, and step directly into gaps — supporting teams without a dedicated TPM, or filling in where design or engineering resourcing is thin — as needed. You'll work closely with two scrum teams, owning day-to-day product direction, removing delivery roadblocks, and ensuring consistent progress against roadmap priorities.

You will act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering — translating complex needs into actionable outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on customer value and business impact.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of product initiatives across multiple Scrum teams
  • Write detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria yourself — not just direct others to write them
  • Act as the primary point of contact for two Scrum teams, providing clarity, prioritization, and rapid decision-making
  • Manage and continuously refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with roadmap goals
  • Remove blockers and proactively address risks to maintain delivery momentum
  • Partner with stakeholders across business, sales, customer success, and support to gather requirements and align priorities
  • Conduct customer, market, and competitive research to inform product direction
  • Define success metrics and evaluate product performance, including adoption, engagement, and business outcomes
  • Lead sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, reviews) as a regular part of the role, not an occasional one
  • Test, validate, and iterate on features in close collaboration with engineering and QA
  • Present product updates, demos, and business cases to internal and external audiences

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2–5 years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a hybrid PM/PO role in B2B SaaS — ideally in lean or small teams where you personally owned requirements, backlog, and delivery without a dedicated TPM, EM, or tech lead to lean on
  • Proven ability to drive execution across multiple releases or product initiatives, including writing your own requirements and staying close to daily sprint work
  • Strong ability to write clear, detailed product requirements and work closely with engineering teams
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with high delivery expectations
  • Experience applying AI tools (e.g., LLMs, analytics, or automation tools) to generate customer insights, improve product decisions, or increase team productivity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions with limited guidance, in ambiguous or resource-constrained environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and user-centric thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills — able to give direct, structured answers (problem → action → outcome) with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, globally distributed team environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HR technology, ATS platforms, or talent acquisition workflows
  • Understanding of hiring lifecycle challenges (high-volume hiring, onboarding, compliance)
  • Exposure to integrating acquired products or platform consolidation efforts
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Miro, and Productboard

What Success Looks Like

  • You drive consistent, predictable delivery across multiple scrum teams
  • You are highly responsive and unblock teams quickly to maintain velocity
  • You translate ambiguity into clear, actionable plans and requirements
  • You build strong trust with engineering, stakeholders, and leadership
  • You deliver features that improve hiring efficiency and customer outcomes

We are an equal-opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
