Help Shape the Future of EV Charging Across the UK

At Moto, we're leading the UK's EV revolution.

We've already invested significantly in building one of the country's largest rapid charging networks, with 51 EV SuperHubs and more than 1,100 high-powered charging bays across our motorway service areas. As demand for electric vehicle charging continues to grow, we're also working closely with third-party charging providers to expand and enhance our network even further.

We're looking for a Construction Manager – Third Party EV Infrastructure to join our growing EV team and play a key role in delivering these projects safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to our busy operational sites.

What we offer:
  • Up to 15% company performance related bonus

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Up to 60% discount for you, your partner as well as your family and friends

  • Enhanced benefits, including maternity, paternity, pension, sick pay and life assurance

  • Fabulous training and development opportunities

About the job:

As the client-side construction lead, you'll oversee the delivery of third-party EV charging infrastructure projects across the Moto estate. You'll act as the bridge between Moto, charge point operators, contractors, consultants and site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly and to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering infrastructure projects that make a real difference.

What You'll Do:

You'll be responsible for coordinating construction activities from a client-side perspective, ensuring projects are well-planned, well-managed and successfully handed over.

  • Coordinate site layouts, logistics, phasing plans and operational requirements with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Review designs and construction proposals to ensure compliance with company standards, CDM 2015 and Building Regulations.

  • Act as the main point of contact between Moto, charge point operators, contractors, consultants and delivery teams.

  • Monitor construction progress, quality, health & safety performance and programme delivery.

  • Ensure duty holder coordination, inspections and construction phase planning are managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead site inspections, snagging reviews and defect resolution activities.

  • Work closely with operational teams to minimise disruption across live motorway service locations.

What You'll Bring:

We're interested in hearing from experienced Construction Managers, Project Managers or Infrastructure Delivery professionals who have worked within complex operational environments.

You'll Have:
  • Construction management experience within infrastructure, utilities, EV charging, retail or other operational environments.

  • A strong understanding of site logistics, contractor management, project phasing and quality control.

  • Experience managing health & safety requirements and maintaining programme performance.

  • Knowledge of CDM 2015, Building Regulations, RAMS, inspections and handover processes.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver successful outcomes.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to be part of one of the UK's most ambitious EV infrastructure programmes.

You'll work on high-profile projects that support the transition to sustainable travel, collaborate with leading charge point operators, and help shape how millions of motorists recharge on the UK's motorway network.

At Moto, we're committed to innovation, investment and creating opportunities for our people to make a real impact.

Ready to Help Power the Future?

If you're passionate about construction delivery, infrastructure projects and creating a greener future for UK travel, we'd love to hear from you.
