About the Role

We are a growing MarTech consultancy and Salesforce implementation partner serving clients in banking, healthcare, insurance, and retail. We specialize in end-to-end digital transformation and marketing automation, and we're looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join our team of enterprise technology experts.

This is a fully remote role available as W2 (up to $70/hr) or C2C (up to $65/hr). H1B transfer is supported.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

  • Build scalable and reusable AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi services.

  • Develop custom Sling Models, OSGi bundles, and HTL (Sightly) components.

  • Configure and maintain AEM Assets, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.

  • Integrate AEM with enterprise applications and third-party systems via REST APIs and web services.

  • Collaborate closely with UX, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the full SDLC.

  • Lead and participate in code reviews, production support, and performance optimization efforts.

  • Ensure adherence to development best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.

  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers in technical discussions and delivery.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 10+ years of overall software development experience; 7+ years of hands-on AEM development.

  • Strong expertise in AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) — Sites, Assets, and Workflows.

  • Deep proficiency in Java, J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, HTL, Servlets, and REST APIs.

  • Experience building reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.

  • Hands-on experience integrating AEM with enterprise systems using REST APIs and web services.

  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive UI development.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Maven, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent DevOps tooling.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

  • Experience working in a marketing services or agency environment with cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated client-facing capabilities.

  • Current legal right to work in the United States (H1B transfers considered; no new sponsorship).

Nice to Have

  • Adobe Certified Expert – AEM designation.

  • Experience in Insurance or Financial Services domains.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Platform.

  • Knowledge of AWS or cloud-native deployment practices.

  • Proven track record of leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • W2: Up to $70/hour

  • C2C: Up to $65/hour

This role is fully remote. The client base is US-based; candidates must be able to work within US business hours. The reference location is San Ramon, California, USA.
