· Design and deliver impactful demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs) showcasing the feasibility and value of Alteryx solutions in the customer’s environment, including addressing technical objections and demonstrating how Alteryx One provides competitive advantages in cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments

· Stay ahead of industry trends, including advancements in AI, cloud-native architectures, data governance/security best practices, and how Alteryx integrates with modern cloud data warehouses and AI/ML workflows

· Remain up to date on Alteryx solutions and features, competitive products, and emerging technologies while maintaining familiarity and adherence to all company methods and procedures.

· Advise best practices for AI-driven data automation, cloud cost optimization, and scalable analytics workflows, helping customers accelerate digital transformation.

· Work with sales management to drive sales through optimizing processes, training of team, and development of a culture of collaboration, learning, and success.

Qualifications:

· 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science, preferably in the software industry. This includes at least 3 years of experience in the field.

· Knowledge of public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) with familiarity in data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and Databricks. Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Apache Spark or similar product or language is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of data analytics, data science, ETL processes, AI/ML workflows, automation, and model deployment within cloud environments. Proficiency in using Alteryx or similar data analytics tools is highly desirable.

· Experience setting up data connectivity for both on-prem and cloud sources, including ODBC configurations for on-prem systems and OAuth/SSO-based integrations for cloud platforms.

· Demonstrated ability to handle complex selling situations, involving multiple departments and levels of the organization (i.e., Line of business, C-suite, IT, etc.)

· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and continuously re-prioritize while maintaining a constant focus on participating in the sales process.
