Job description

ROLE SUMMARY

ABOUT THE COMPANY

This role supports Heather Williams, founder of The Cultivated Life, a growing portfolio of ventures built around one idea: giving people, from children to emerging professionals, the practical skills and mindset to build a life they are proud of, one that weaves faith, family, gardening, and personal growth into an intentional, holistic life.

The Cultivated Life spans several pillars under one brand, including children's storytelling content, books on real-world life skills, the Young Leaders Program (a leadership development curriculum), podcasts and online content on nature and personal growth, and experiential travel retreats. Each piece stands on its own, but together they form a single brand and a lifelong audience. In an active launch phase, The Cultivated Life is taking ventures that currently exist in pieces and bringing them to market as one cohesive, visible, revenue-generating brand.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Cultivated Life is launching, and this role owns getting it to market. The Brand Launch & Marketing Assistant will build and run the brand launch end to end, across social media, content promotion, program marketing, and event execution, so the founder can stay focused on creating content, leading, and speaking. The early focus is the Young Leader Program launch and the live events, which are where the platform expects the most traction, with the books, podcast, and other pillars supported as they develop. This is not a task-taking role. The right person receives a direction, builds the plan, and drives it to completion, checking in for decisions rather than instructions. It is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to help build a purpose-driven brand from zero and grow into a trusted operational partner over time.

This position is perfect for someone who:

✅ Takes an idea and runs with it, bringing solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.

✅ Feels ownership over outcomes and follows through without needing reminders.

✅ Believes in the mission of equipping people with skills that change their lives.

✅ Can run multiple concurrent projects with different timelines and stakeholders.

✅ Is self-directed in a remote environment and comfortable with early-stage ambiguity.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand, Social Media and Marketing

Build the founder's and platform's presence to drive visibility and trust across each business line.

  • Create an overall plan to build the Cultivated Life brand across each platform pillar.

  • Build, launch, and manage social media presence across platforms for each business line.

  • Coordinate the build and launch of marketing and social media campaigns across the platform's programs and pillars.

  • Develop and execute the content calendar, posting strategy, and integrated marketing plans across the platform.

  • Support development of the founder's personal brand alongside the business brand.

  • Promote Young Leader Program and Skills Dashboard enrollment across channels.

  • Build and nurture an engaged community across owned channels.

  • Set up brand accounts and assets correctly, keeping copyright and naming considerations in mind.

Event Coordination

Live events are a primary growth focus and one of the platform's strongest revenue drivers.

  • Plan and coordinate in-person workshops and conferences end to end.

  • Identify and secure sponsors, and recruit and manage participant registration.

  • Manage the online interaction and meeting schedule for audience-facing events.

  • Coordinate vendors, and set up and order branded promotional items and collateral.

Project Coordination

  • Break initiatives into clear plans with steps, owners, and timelines, and drive open items to completion.

  • Coordinate with the developer on landing pages, backend setup, and connected tools.

  • Report progress and flag blockers early with a recommended plan of action.

  • Support customer service, order fulfillment, and access issues once programs go live so the founder is not the bottleneck.

Content & Publishing

  • Coordinate podcast setup, guest scheduling, and recording logistics.

  • Research and vet publishers, and manage the submission and follow-up process for the children's book series.

  • Source and coordinate products, partners, and content opportunities for the children's book series.

  • Promote books, podcast episodes, and program launches across channels.

Although the responsibilities outlined above will form the core focus of your role, please note that your hiring manager may assign additional relevant tasks as needed to align with the evolving objectives of your position and the overall goals of our business.
