Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to support the continued evolution of its Omni-channel communications platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a highly visible digital transformation initiative, partnering with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical product leader with experience translating business needs into technical requirements, managing Agile delivery, and driving collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Technical Product Owner for an Omni-channel communications platform, partnering closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business and technical requirements.
• Translate business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready backlog items.
• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business objectives and technical roadmaps.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Monitor platform performance, product KPIs, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support long-term platform planning and feature prioritization.
• Develop and maintain business and technical documentation.
• Identify risks, remove delivery obstacles, and help ensure successful product execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Platform Owner, or similar role.
• Experience working with Salesforce.
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with Azure, including AKS on Azure.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within financial services, insurance, or wealth management environments.
• Knowledge of life insurance business processes and customer communications platforms.
• Experience defining product roadmaps and managing technical platform enhancements.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience working within large enterprise Agile organizations.
