Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare has an exciting opportunity for an Installation Project Manager to support our Imaging Equipment business in the New Mexico and El Paso, TX territory. With your experience in construction projects, you will own the implementation process for installing our larger imaging equipment in hospitals and other care centers, from sales order review through customer training on their new devices.

This is a customer-facing position—candidates are required to reside in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact between GE HealthCare and the customer for all installation-related activities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the installation process.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues that may impact customer satisfaction or GEHC operational targets.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales and service teams while owning the project management and implementation process for GE HealthCare Diagnostic Imaging.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of experience in project management, OR an Associate degree with a minimum of five years of experience in project management.
  • Minimum of two years of experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities to meet project deadlines and customer expectations while working remotely.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing and able to travel regularly, including overnight travel as required.

Desired Characteristics

  • Formal coursework in project management and experience in construction or working with the building trades.
  • Experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a clinical environment and familiarity with GE HealthCare products.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD and MagicPlan.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Six Sigma certification.
