Job description

WHO WE ARE:

Quartile, the world's largest retail media optimization platform, is a trusted partner for multichannel e-commerce success. Through unmatched expertise and patented AI technology, we fuel growth for 5,300+ brands and sellers worldwide and manage an annual ad spend exceeding $2 billion. The award-winning platform covers major marketplaces and ad channels for optimal reach. The result is unprecedented granularity, smarter budgeting, and bespoke solutions for retailers.

Quartile is proud to be an equal opportunity employer with employees stemming from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. As a business, we value the enrichment that diversity brings to our organization and are committed to a culture that creates a sense of inclusion and belonging. We welcome new perspectives and affirm that all employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, familial or marital status, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy, gender identity or expression, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.

OVERVIEW:

Do you have a sharp eye for language, an instinct for what makes a product description work, and a genuine interest in how content drives results? We’re looking for a Listing Quality Reviewer to be a key part of our SEO product team at Quartile.

Our SEO product analyzes the listing content of our clients’ products on Amazon—titles, descriptions, and keywords—and automatically generates data-driven suggestions aimed at improving organic visibility and conversion rates. Your role is to be the expert eye that reviews these AI-generated outputs and ensures they are accurate, coherent, persuasive, and aligned with Amazon best practices before they reach the client.

This isn’t a technical tool-operator role. We’re looking for someone who can read a product title and immediately sense whether it sounds right—whether it will resonate with a shopper, reflect the brand’s voice, and rank well. Someone who can spot when a generated suggestion is technically valid but commercially weak, and know how to fix it.

If you combine strong written communication skills, a solid understanding of Amazon’s marketplace dynamics, and a genuine interest in helping clients win in search—this role is a great fit.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of experience working with marketplace content—Amazon listings, product copy, or similar (experience in SEO, e-commerce content, or copywriting is a strong plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and improve written content: you can tell the difference between a title that converts and one that doesn’t, and you can articulate why
  • Familiarity with Amazon’s listing standards and best practices (title structure, character limits, keyword placement, A+ content logic)
  • Strong attention to detail—able to catch inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, keyword stuffing, missing attributes, or misaligned product messaging
  • Clear and concise written communication in English, both for internal documentation and client-facing recommendations
  • Organized and self-directed: able to manage a review queue, prioritize flags, and maintain quality under volume
  • Comfortable working with data outputs and dashboards to support your qualitative assessments (Excel or Google Sheets proficiency is sufficient)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

You’ll work as the quality layer between our SEO product’s AI-generated outputs and our clients. Your primary responsibility is to review and validate titles, descriptions, and keyword suggestions—ensuring they are commercially sound, brand-appropriate, and optimized to improve performance on Amazon.

  • Review AI-generated listing outputs (titles, bullet points, descriptions, and keyword suggestions) across client accounts, applying Amazon best practices and internal quality standards to assess and improve each recommendation
  • Identify outputs that are technically generated but commercially weak—catching issues like generic phrasing, keyword stuffing, inconsistent brand tone, misleading attributes, or poor readability—and revise or flag them accordingly
  • Develop and maintain a consistent set of review criteria and guidelines, documenting patterns in common errors and creating reusable frameworks for quality evaluation
  • Provide structured feedback to the product and technology teams on recurring output quality issues, helping improve the underlying model and generation logic over time
  • Monitor listing performance trends following content updates, identifying correlations between content changes and shifts in conversion rates, click-through rates, or organic ranking
  • Stay current on Amazon’s evolving listing policies, A9/A10 algorithm behavior, and marketplace content best practices, proactively incorporating new standards into the review process
  • Support the broader SEO team in building a quality culture around content: contribute to training materials, review rubrics, and internal best practice documentation
  • Lead monthly and on-demand client calls to present performance analysis, demonstrate the impact of listing optimizations, and recommend data-driven next steps for continued growth
