Job description

Oversees pharmacy contractual guarantees through performance analysis, forecasting, and pricing recommendations to achieve guarantee targets. Manages provider contracts throughout the contract lifecycle and partners with cross-functional teams to support negotiations, contract performance, and strategic initiatives. Leads complex analyses, presents recommendations to leadership, and serves as a subject matter expert in provider guarantees and pharmacy pricing.

Joining the Retail Network and Provider Guarantees team provides a unique opportunity to gain expertise in provider pricing agreements and contract performance management. Team members develop specialized knowledge in areas such as provider guarantees, claims adjustment analysis, retail network strategy, and specialty pharmacy negotiations while collaborating with business partners across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage pharmacy pricing strategies to meet contractual guarantee targets.
  • Review provider contracts to ensure pricing terms and guarantees are accurately implemented.
  • Track, analyze, and report provider guarantee performance.
  • Recommend pricing and system adjustments to support contractual obligations.
  • Maintain and enhance the provider guarantees database and reporting tools.
  • Partner with Contracting, Finance, Product, and Operations teams to support negotiations and performance inquiries.
  • Lead claims-based analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3 plus years of equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel;  Experience with SQL required
  • 3-5 years plus of experience in Financial Analysis, or related area
  • Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in complex matrix organizations and agile teams
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills to work with various matrix partners
  • Knowledge of PBM or Healthcare industry preferred


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,800 - 161,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
