This role will lead TCI's professional development strategy and oversee the Trainer Team. The ideal candidate combines deep classroom experience with TCI programs, strong presentation skills, and a natural ability to manage others to do their best work. This individual will be responsible for:


Trainer Team Leadership

  • Lead TCI’s Trainer Team and build a bench of skilled presenters who represent TCI well in the field.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor our Trainer Team members.
  • Establish expectations for quality and consistency, direct trainers’ work, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help trainers grow in their craft.
  • Supervise trainers to ensure they are well-prepared and rehearsed to deliver sessions at key TCI events and on-demand courses.
  • Lead collaboration with Marketing and HR to ensure the Trainer Team has updated and polished presentation resources.

Professional Development Content 

  • Lead development of sessions for key TCI events like the TCI Summit, Coaches Camp, PCs, and corporate webinars.
  • Use independent judgement to determine session content for professional conferences and thought leadership webinars and coordinate with the marketing team to promote and develop sessions.
  • Use independent judgment to develop new courses for TCI's on-demand professional development courses that focus on TCI's pedagogical approach.
  • Evaluate and update current courses to reflect our latest features and new editions.

Curriculum Development

  • Direct development of ideas for new high school social studies lessons.
  • Utilize knowledge and experience to generate ideas for the development of Economics Alive! Personal Finance.
  • Evaluate ideas for Video Activities and, when appropriate, oversee and coordinate completion of development work.
  • Assess and make recommendations to the curriculum team to bring a MS/HS voice to key development projects.

TCI Coach Community Manager

  • Use independent judgment and discretion to prepare and refine Coach Community event content, coordinate the presenters, model best practices for the presenting team, and represent TCI as a face of the company at these events.
  • Serve as the lead presenter for 10 Coaches Camp events nationwide, delivering engaging, high-quality sessions for educators.
  • Oversee ongoing support to the Coach Community by creating newsletters and social media content and hosting follow-up webinars and events.

Expert Presenter

  • Orchestrate professional development trainings for TCI users across the country.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work with the sales team and serve as a presentation specialist to deliver pilot trainings, orientations, and follow-up trainings that showcase TCI's programs.
  • Collaborate with and make recommendations to sales representatives to tailor presentation content for each audience. This role does not include sales follow-up, pipeline management, or closing with customers.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience using TCI materials in an educational setting
  • 5+ years of experience leading TCI orientations, webinars, and sales presentations
  • Organized self-starter with proven ability to work independently and use discretion to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects, and meet urgent requests
  • Direct experience leading, mentoring, and coaching presenters to refine and improve their skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to clearly explain complex issues and actively listen to concerns
  • Strong sales instincts and comfort conducting customer meetings and demonstrations
  • Able to travel 50% of the time for Coaches Camp events and other trainings/presentations as needed
  • Ability to work independently from a home office; reliable internet access required

Salary Range: $71,000 - $108,000 annually


This is a full-time remote position. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills, and location. TCI offers medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits, PTO and bonus eligibility.
