Snowflake + ETL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake + ETL Developer with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our team. As a Snowflake + ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes and solutions on the Snowflake platform. The work mode for this role is hybrid, with two days of work from the office being mandatory. The position is available in multiple locations, including Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

Responsibilities:

1. ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using one or more ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or relevant technologies.
   

2. Snowflake Platform: Utilize the Snowflake platform to build and optimize data pipelines for data integration and transformation.
   

3. Data Modeling: Collaborate with data modelers and data architects to design efficient and scalable data models to support ETL processes and data warehousing.
   

4. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data quality and consistency.
   

5. Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes for better performance and efficiency.
   

6. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data integration, data quality, and ETL processes.
   

7. Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including ETL specifications, data mappings, and data lineage.
   

8. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
   

9. Data Governance: Adhere to data governance and data security best practices in all ETL processes.
   

Requirements:

1. 6 to 8 years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
   

2. Strong experience in using one or more ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica, SSIS, Talend, or relevant technologies.
   

3. Hands-on experience with the Snowflake data platform.
   

4. Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.
   

5. Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.
   

6. Understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
   

7. Knowledge of data governance and data security practices.
   

8. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
   

9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
   

10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
