Software Development Lead

This is a remote position.

• Working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team
  
  
• Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
  
  
• Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
  
  
• Communicating with clients, colleagues, management and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to identify problems or issues and ensure they are resolved
  
  
• Designing software architectures that support the company’s goals while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security
  
  
• Developing and maintaining software code bases according to established coding standards and best practices
  
  
• Conducting code reviews to ensure that new code is error-free and conforms to established standards
  
  
• Evaluating emerging technologies to determine if they can be integrated into the company’s products or services
  
  
• Reporting progress on projects to management using status meetings and other communication tools
  
  
• Working with other departments within the company to ensure that the software being developed meets their needs
  
  
• Writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
  
• ​Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standards
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development  
  
  
• You have production experience with some of the technologies we use (or reasonable facsimiles thereof; we’re open-minded): Python, JavaScript, Django, Three.js, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Azure.
  
  
• Frameworks: Laravell or similars or any kind of framework related those languages;
  
  
• Scripting languages like bash or similar
  
  
• Good ideas for UI/UIX implementation 
  
  
• Experience with web application development, as well as cloud-centric workflows and DevOps.
  
  
• Working knowledge of cloud-based solutions
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work independent of direct supervision and work extended hours
  
  
• Possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  
  
• Excellent verbal & written skills in English 
  

• Linux experience is a plus
  
  
• Automation tools like Ansible is a plus
  
  
• Zoho backend experience is a plus 
  
  
• Previous experience in telecom, hosting, data center or internet 
  
  
• service providers
  
  
• Previous experience at a start up or rapid changing environment
