ABOUT US
As a female-founded and owned social impact firm, Edgility Talent Partners (ETP) is a consulting firm that partners with mission driven organizations to build values-aligned, equity-centered talent programs. In short, we empower people, strengthen systems, and advance our clients’ important missions. With deep expertise in the social impact sector and human capital, our work centers equity at every stage, combining data-driven insights with a deep understanding of the unique challenges that mission-focused organizations face. Whether supporting a compensation overhaul, redesigning evaluation systems, or assessing internal talent bench strength, ETP equips leaders with the tools they need to attract, retain, and support a thriving workforce.

OPPORTUNITY
Edgility Talent Partners is looking for an Associate Partner (AP) to join our team and support the expansion of our consulting practice. APs are skilled relationship builders, coaches, and strategists who cultivate deep partnerships with their clients, helping them to navigate critical decisions about organizational growth and change. APs are thought partners and project leads, responsible for project oversight, client presentations, and strategic advising throughout all engagement phases. They are expected to provide guidance and coaching to both clients and junior team members while delivering sophisticated synthesis, analysis, diagnosis, and recommendations to HR leaders, CEOs, senior leadership teams, and Boards on complex human capital–related projects.

APs leverage their broad understanding of HR functions and the social impact sector to provide comprehensive talent strategy guidance to clients, often connecting the dots among compensation, performance management, organizational design, and talent/succession planning. In this role, they will also help clients examine organizational structures, roles and responsibilities, and end‑to‑end workflows through the lens of emerging AI tools—identifying where technology can responsibly streamline work, redistribute effort, and redesign roles while keeping equity, judgment, and human relationships at the center.

APs are expected to manage multiple client engagements at once, deftly prioritizing and preparing deliverables in a highly responsive and strategic manner. This is a mission critical and full-time position at ETP on the client services career pathway to Partner at the firm. As a virtual firm, all roles at ETP are remote. Some travel to client sites, conferences, and staff retreats is required.

Requirements

In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the ideal Associate Partner candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a project manager, shepherding multi-stakeholder and complex projects from initiation through completion.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information to senior leaders and boards to facilitate strategic discussions.
  • High EQ and strategic thinking skills; ability to synthesize complex information, identify themes and strategic implications, and diagnose actionable solutions.
  • A proven track record in building rapport and deep, trusting, long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong coaching and team development skills with capacity to mentor junior staff.
  • Ideally, experience in client services including a proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and leading client presentations.
  • Ideally, familiarity with the nonprofit and social impact sector including its approach to funding, leadership, governance, and organizational structure.
  • Ideally, experience in human resources, and a broad understanding of typical HR functions such as compensation, performance management, and organizational design.
  • Strong facility for leveraging technology platforms to streamline and enhance solutions and services.
  • While no sales experience is required, a modest background in business development and client cultivation would be appreciated.
  • Known to take the initiative, display resourcefulness, maintain professionalism, hold a high bar for quality, and have an agile level of learning.
  • Alignment with our firmwide core values of Tangible Impact, Authentic Integrity, Boundless Curiosity, Empowered Excellence, and Joyful Humanity.
  • Above all else, passionate commitment to our mission of empowering social impact organizations to act on equity by building exceptional teams that reflect and strengthen the communities they serve.
