ROLE SUMMARY 

The Quality Development (QDT) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that our valuation products and services meet specific quality standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes while leveraging appraisal expertise to enhance valuation services, support appraisers, and improve overall organizational performance.

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

  • Conduct appraisal quality audits to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards
  • Analyze revision data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies to optimize results
  • Provide data-driven insights to Appraiser Leadership through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Coach and mentor appraisers to minimize revisions and meet the company's Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Maintain and enhance quality control workflows to support internal teams and client needs
  • Update and refine True Footage Templates and Quicklists to standardize best practices
  • Develop evaluation criteria and frameworks to assess appraisers’ understanding of valuation principles and quality assurance best practices


YOU BRING 

  • Must be a certified appraiser with a minimum of five years of experience
  • Skilled at identifying potential issues and areas for improvement in appraisal reports
  • Proficient in analyzing reports to recognize market trends, adjustments, and anomalies that may impact quality
  • Adept at diagnosing issues and implementing effective, practical solutions
  • Clear and effective in conveying quality standards, delivering feedback, and collaborating with team members to drive improvements
  • Strong ability to motivate, guide, and support team members in achieving quality goals
  • Deep understanding of appraisal-specific quality standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance
  • Experienced in designing and implementing methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Flexible and capable of adjusting to changing priorities, circumstances, and requirements while maintaining quality objectives
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality results that exceed client expectations
  • Committed to upholding fairness, integrity, and the highest ethical standards

Compensation: $85,000/yr - $95,000/yr
